I love this photo. They were like crazy. It was so fun. It was children being children and adults trying to control that madness at least a little.\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\n\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nThere are a lot of pictures of this moment because as I said, to break down that pi\u00f1ata was a loooong process. This particular word \u200b in other countries we use it to explain \"the Danish secret of happiness\". And although it is often related to winter and sitting in front of a stove reading a good book, the #HYGGE concept is in fact linked to the idea of \u200b\u200bcomfort, warmth, intimacy.\n\nHygge is about being happy while being together, disconnected from the rest (turning off your phone is essential!). It's to enjoy yourself, to build memories with the ones you love, to relax just being yourself... it's to \"feel at home\". And yes, probably the secret of happiness it's just about making from the small everyday things, a significant and meaningful moment... I like to think that the time I share with the families I photograph are like that: a warm, comfortable but overall, intimate moment. I want to let them be themselves and just photograph people feeling at home while enjoying each other. Disconnected from the rest of the world, hugging each other more, building memories together.
