And the fury of people all over the world.\nTourist that are stuck abroad are seen as a plague all over the world. Discrimination has escalated. \u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nBut we make it as gezellig as possible. \nWe play games, we sit in the sun next to the window to eat tangerines, we bought flowers once a week (we always do but now flowers became more important), we keep things more ordered than we used to just to avoid the stress of a messy house. \nWe eat comfort food. We listen to music. We dance. We play we are a family of monsters. \u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nAnd I take pictures.\nSome days I take a lot. Others, I force myself a little. \nIt keeps me busy and creative. \nThese photos will have a huge value when things go back to normal (soon, I hope) and we talk about those days when we were stuck She was still inside my belly and I used to sing to her while imagining her in my arms, all wet and pink. They separated us so quickly, the only thing I remember before they got me completely sedated, is her cry. She was crying until they put her face on my face, and then they took her away again while they put me down to sleep.\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\n\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nA few days from now us women all over the world will march fighting for our rights. A humane, gentle birth is one of them. I have two daughters and both times I suffered obstetric violence. It happens a lot, and sadly I found out it happens everywhere.\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\n\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nBut this birth, the one of this photo, was gentle, happy, beautiful and aware. And it was healing. After a few weeks, I feel free: I can put words to my grief and recognize that I don't want to let it go and I'm fine with it. \u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nI finally started embracing my pain, my sadness, acknowledging that it's ok to be angry when they take away from you something so powerful, so joyful, so unique and so yours. \u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\n\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\u2800\nThis moment for me was a gift.
